Spells and Abilities:

  • Either Death Mist Core, Ice Core, or Mimic Core (one of these three Cores is dropped at equal chances for each if Yoshida is beaten first out of the four enemies; if Yoshida is not beaten first, see her teammates for their respective Core drops)

Yoshida is part of a boss fight in the secret passage of the Pleasure Palace, opened directly after the boss fight with Eris. She is fought as part of a team of enemy Magical Girls alongside Belle, Felicia, and Miranda.

Despite being the main antagonist of the group, Yoshida should be left for last. If you are trying to aim for a specific Core drop then she is definitely not going to be the first target at the very least. For the most part Yoshida is a straightforward physical attacker hitting one target at a time without too many extra effects. She is capable of inflicting MC Poisoned.pngPoisoned and MC Stunned.pngStunned status effects, but neither are typically all that urgent unless the stun is on Natalie and you desperately need a heal. Yoshida can normally be ignored compared to her teammates so long as you keep your health up, and if she is in her Spell Reflecting Stance then doubly so as long as you do not target her. Consider the use of a DEF buff skill, even if Stone Splitter Cut ignores DEF the rest of her skills do not.

As previously mentioned, you will likely be targeting one of Yoshida's teammates first for this fight rather than her. Your choice will most likely be primarily influenced by the Core they drop: Belle for the Ice Core, Felicia for the Mimic Core, and Miranda for the Death Mist Core. The Cores aside, their priority in terms of threat should be Belle and Felicia First followed by Miranda, and then Yoshida. Belle serves as the teams support with an array of buffing spells and the skill Heal, but is also somewhat physically frail with the lowest HP and DEF. Felicia also has a buff and Heal but focuses more on the ability to debuff and apply status effects. Miranda is a fairly straightforward magical attacker whose multi-targeting skills make her a larger threat than Yoshda.

Once you have finished off her teammates, each of whom have reasons to be prioritized higher, then Yoshida as the last member should not prove too troublesome. One additional reason to leave Yoshida last is just how incredibly troublesome it is to actually hurt her which is time that would have been wasted if her teammates were still up. She has an unusually high 20% EVA stat that confounds physical attackers, and her Spell Reflecting Stance occasionally renders your mages useless for a couple of turns. On top of that, once Yoshida drops below half health she increases her usage of Vampiric Drain. Still, if her teammates are down then a 4v1 should end in short order.

Losing the Battle

Losing the boss battle will result in the loss of Eris' Core in addition to the loss of the chance to recover one of the previously stolen Cores.
