Acid is an element a damaging move may use. It is used most often by enemies in the Slime Palace, with the enemies, bosses, and cores focused on it. As such, most (but not all) enemies in the Palace are immune to acid damage. Slime Body renders the user immune to acid damage.
Acid damaging moves are the first moves the player gets via cores, and though acid boasts the most enemies immune to it, barring enemies in the Slime Palace, only three enemies have resistance to it (one of which includes the near omni-resistant Legion). So long as they aren't cast in the Slime Palace, acid damaging moves are a dependable set of spells to cast.
