This page is about the boss. Did you mean the character Rania?
This article's content is accurate to the most recent public game version, 0.4.8d.
Bestiary Entry: A legendary Planeswalker driven mad by a mirror given to her by a hero of old. Nearly godlike in power, and pretty fun to get drunk with.

Rania: "You are already here!? You arrived sooner than I was expecting. ...Or was it later? Tsk, messing with the space-time continuum really screws your sense of time."

Eric(a): "Enough games, Rania!"

Rania: "I guess I had my fun... Nah, kidding. How about I beat the crap out of you now!?"

Eric(a): "We'll see about that."

Spells and Abilities:

Drops:

Rania is the final boss of her self-named Rania's Fun House. Unlike the bosses of most dungeons, Rania is not actually a magico, merely an extremely powerful and mad mage wielding an enchanted and probably cursed mirror. This is one of the most difficult fights in the game.

Rania is accompanied by two unique Watchers named Blue Eye and Red Eye. The blue one specializes in an assortment of status effects and debuff skills, healing Rania (if Rania is below 50% health), plus the attack Reap, while the red one boasts a wide variety of attack spells and can always cast heals. Rania herself also has a great amount of magic spells, and the magical proficiency to make them hurt, but her physical abilities are comparatively mediocre.

Due to the prevalence of the spell Reap, it is highly advised to equip the Bunny Print Panties and the Gothic Corset as protection against Instant Death on two of the Cutie Knights, as well as gear that raises MDF. The defence spells Lovely Barricade/Lunar Barricade and Misty Illusions are pretty much mandatory for this fight.

The first goal of the fight after setting up defences should be taking out one of the Eyes. The blue one's various debuff abilities and casting of Reap are generally more of a hindrance than the added artillery of the red one, so that one should probably be taken out. Do not take out both, as that is a trap - Rania gains the ability to cast multiple spells per round!

After one Eye is down, focus on defeating Rania herself. Using skills to debuff her MAT and MDF is a good idea, as is trying to reduce her MP, since she will cast a spell that restores her MP in exchange for forcefully stunning herself.

It is at 50% HP that Reap really comes into play, with Rania casting it twice. For this it is helpful to have Salvation and Shiny Restoration, which means you should also allocate the instant death protective equipment to Natalie and Eric(a) respectively if they have those spells. From this point onward, any of the two Watchers with her still alive will also cast Healing Light on her more, the Blue Eye even gaining it where it did not use it at all before.

The rest of the battle is pretty much just trying to endure the damage with healing while slowly depleting Rania's immense health pool. Defend when she focuses for Spellstrike and otherwise fire your strongest magics, and she should eventually go down.

Losing the Battle

Losing the battle will result in the Elfrica Game Over.
