This move has a 100% success rate. If you are about to fight an opponent that uses this move then consider equipping Bunny Print Panties or Gothic Corset to defend against it, especially on Natalie as the healer and raiser, or Eric(a) if they have Cutie Magic Transformation and Shiny Restoration. Veronica with Luring Flare is another option, as Reap is single target and will always target her in that state.
