- During the battle with Veronica, Wendy will appear to offer you this spell.
- If not learned during the Veronica battle, then Wendy will offer it again when leaving the dorm, provided the Library has been visited and the Alaska Mission has been completed.
Lovely Barricade is a spell that grants all allies MDF Up for five turns, as well as the 
Ailment Guard effect for the same duration which decreases the chance of getting all common negative status effects by 75% and grants 20% NUL Up.
Although expensive, boosted MDF renders most of the game's most dangerous attacks more survivable, and strong status effect resistance coupled with Magic Nullification renders some extremely nasty encounters very easy. Be aware, however, that this has no impact on some of the game's more unusual status effects such as 
Weakened. Even so, consider coupling use of this spell with Garak's Glyph if you're looking to spike a character's damage.
Note that choosing to accept Wendy's offer to learn this spell will also apply a level of the Feminine Mannerisms Transformation. There is an alternate (and weaker) version of this spell named Lunar Barricade that can be learned instead with no transformation required. The two spells are mutually exclusive to each other.
