Alice: "That harpy is of a different colour."
Isabelle: "What the...!? We also have sirens? Mother really let the hills get infested."
Eric(a): "Sirens?"
Isabelle: "A harpy sub-species, they are the spell-casters of the harpy race. Normally you only find sirens near the sea, but since we don't have oceans, I guess they decided to settle on the hills. Sirens aren't as tough or fast as normal harpies, but their magical songs can be a problem."

Sirens do not have the speed of their Harpy kin, but they have a larger moveset, including a dangerous Charmed (Breakable) move. While they have some offensive moves as well, their low stats mean that they do not actually do very much damage. Despite the lack of offensive threat, they should probably still be taken out first simply due to the charm ability. Their lower HP and DEF open them up to an easy avenue of taking them out quickly as long as you do not get unlucky enough to miss.
Sirens will actually only cast their Hymn of Bloodlust provided at least one of their allies is still alive. Once cast they gain access to Dual Attack and will use Guard less often, but even with a stage of ATK Up their ATK stat is still fairly unimpressive and does not manage to constitute making them an offensive threat.
Sirens can be found on Harpy Peak.
