Ifrits are troublesome and powerful enemies, almost on the level of being a miniboss, though thankfully they only ever appear alone. Boasting incredibly high stats they can take a couple of turns to take down, especially with their immunity to fire hampering Natalie's usefulness (though she in turn is immune to most things they can do as well). Their ability to inflict Charmed (Strong) and Instant Death make taking them down quickly important. Their only weakness is to Ice, though given Veronica's typically low MAT stat it is probably better for her to focus on physical attacks instead, and Ifrit does have a lower DEF than MDF. Avoid using Cute skills with Eric(a) as Ifrits are very resistant to it. Otherwise, just pour on as much damage as possible.
