The Ice Core is initially dropped by the Magico Bonechiller, but immediately stolen by Yoshida. Later in the battle against her during Operation Fluffy Kitten, if her teammate Belle is defeated first, then this Core will be dropped. If Yoshida herself is beaten first, there is a one in three chance of this Core being dropped. If either of their other two teammates are beaten first, a different Core will be dropped instead.
The following enemies drop the Death Mist Core:
- Bonechiller
- Belle (Boss Battle) (100% if beaten first, 0% otherwise)
- Yoshida (Boss Battle) (33.3% chance if beaten first)
