Isabelle: "Finally! It took way too long to track this one down. Today, you are facing an insect-based magico. Codename: Monarch Insect. We are not 100% sure, but the current theory is that higher-ranking magicos create these things by combining their victims with bees, wasps and hornets. This type of magico's special attack is a spell called Toxic Winds. Toxic Winds usually doesn't do much damage, but it can cause existing poison in your body to 'bloom' for a one-hit KO. Be careful."

Monarch Insect is the magico boss of the Bee Hive. This fight begins with a warning that the spell Toxic Winds can instantly defeat you if you let it hit while you are Poisoned, but thankfully the threat of this happening is less than you might expect. She has a notably high NUL stat, making magical attacks a little spotty against her, so consider the use of physical attacks against her for Eric(a) at least.
Most rounds, Monarch Insect will simply attack you with a variety of weak attack spells. Slightly more concerning is the Venomous Rune spell, which inflicts the poison status effect. Try to clear this off as soon as possible. Monarch Insect requires a turn to Charge before actually casting Toxic Winds, so long as you remedy it the turn after it hits you, the boss will never land it.
Once she has been reduced to half health, Monarch Insect will cast Summon to bring out a Bee Mage and two Drones. Try and take at least some of them out with Natalie using Abyssal Inferno as leaving them up too long is dangerous, even if Monarch Insect will periodically resummon them. The Drones are capable of poisoning, leaving you at threat from Toxic Winds, and the Bee Mage has a variety of buffs, debuffs, and stronger attacks.
Keep up the onslaught, healing as needed, and the magico should fall easily.
Losing the Battle
If you are defeated by Monarch Insect, Eric(a) will receive the Bubble Butt Transformation before being sent back to camp.
