Eric(a): "A bat-winged girl? Is she a magico?"
Alice: "She has the monster girl look, but I'm not sure, because her magic is all wrong for a magico."
Veronica: "Maybe it's a new type of magico."
Natalie: "Oh no, not one of them!"
???: "Please calm down Magical Girls, I am not one of the monsters that you fight."
Xylyra: "My name is Xylyra. Years ago, Phyre bound me to this tower."
Eric(a): "But what are you? There's no way you are human."
Xylyra: "Please don't judge me by my appearance, you look just as strange to me."
Veronica: "She is right Erica, you shouldn't discriminate people based on how they look."
Eric(a): "Sorry."
Xylyra: "It's okay, I get that a lot."
Alice: "Poor girl, that's so sad."
Xylyra: "You seem like nice girls, I wonder if you could help me..."

Xylyra is a powerful succubus, bound to Phyre's Tower. She serves as an optional boss of the area, although she cannot be permanently beaten. Xylyra can be encountered any time you engage any enemy, and defeating her simply chases her off for the time being. Given that her only reward is a 50% chance of receiving an Infernal Elixir, you might not wish to engage her terribly often, although the first several encounters do have unique dialogue.
Xylyra begins each match going easy on you, hitting the party with moderately powerful poisonous physical attacks, potent Fire magic, or negative status effects. When reduced to 50% health, however, she becomes significantly deadlier, acting twice per round and using an expanded move list. Avoid using Fire attacks, as she can negate those easily, and hit her with whatever other heavy attacks you have available while Natalie keeps the party alive and healthy. Also watch out for charm-inflicting attacks, they significantly increase the likelihood of suffering Instant Death from Soul-Stealing Kiss.
