Giselle was once a cannibalistic Thrudmadran viking and necromancer, but that was decades ago. After murdering Marianne's first child, he was reduced to a sissy maid and sentenced to life as the camp's cafeteria lunch lady.

Personality

Before his life at the camp, Giselle was a cowardly, evil man, serving the magico Garak while participating in ghastly cannibalistic rituals. This lust for power was eventually his undoing. Now Giselle behaves as a perfectly helpful, cheery, submissive maid to all the magical girls at camp, keeping the cafeteria spotless and preparing meals daily. He is only allowed to express his true feelings through carefully worded hints, except to other maids, and given how motivated Marianne is to see him suffer, it is unlikely he will be freed from his fate any time soon.

It is hard to determine how much of the original person Giselle once was even exists now. When asked about his history, Giselle claims he can remember very little and isn't sure exactly why he's being tortured like this, but has a distinct sense of some great loss.

Interactions

Time Progression

The primary purpose of Giselle is as the cafeteria lady. If you speak to him at the cafeteria in the evening, you may order dinner in order to skip ahead to the next day.

Other Interactions

Miscellaneous interactions with Giselle of note.

  • Seeking Answers: If Eric(a) has the Maid Transformation, speaking with Giselle has him find that he can speak a bit more freely about his circumstances to a fellow maid. Giselle will give you the Director's Office Key, asking to share any information you can find on his past with him.
  • Unsubtle Key Theft: During the Raiding Yoshida's Room event, if Eric(a) has the Maid Transformation, then speaking with Giselle will have him offer to steal a key for you. Taking Giselle up on the offer will net a Silver Key to access Yoshida's room. However Giselle is not very stealthy and Marianne will notice, leading to a trip to the Punishment Classroom afterwards.

Book

After completing the Sealed Archives dungeon, Giselle can be located in the bathroom of the dorm in the mornings. If Eric(a) has the Maid Transformation then it can trigger a chain of fetch quests to get some reading materials for Giselle.

  • Vir: The first book Giselle asks for is a book on the Vir. Head over to the Library and speak with Caroline to get the book on Vir History and bring it back to Giselle. Come back the next morning to find that Giselle has decided he was not a Vir as he initially suspected from Veronica's sadism and circumstances.
  • Nera: The second book Giselle asks for is one about the planet Nera. Head over to the Library and speak with Caroline again to get the Nera Guide and bring it back to Giselle. Come back the next morning to speak with Giselle who feels he's too smart to have been a disgusting alcoholic warthog thug as Marianne once told him.
  • Thrudmadra: Getting the third book on Thrudmadra is a bit more work. Speak first with Caroline who reveals that the only copy has been missing for some time, likely "stolen" by a student. The student in question is Skudis, so go speak with her in front of the Administration Building where is always with Amy. Not knowing that library books are meant to be returned she gives you the now destroyed book along with 20000 lumes so the library can buy a new copy. Return to Caroline with the Ragged Book and money and she will order a new copy. Return to Caroline the next day to get the Thrudmadra Guide and then bring it to Giselle. Wait another day and speak with Giselle who finds that he is probably from Thrudmadra, but that Marianne has left one more curse preventing him from finishing the book. Whatever Giselle found though, he seems to feel that Marianne must have had good cause, and that he must have hurt her deeply in the past.
