Manavores are potentially devastating foes, armed with a powerful magic attack that hits the entire party, as well as an obnoxious MP-draining attack. Fortunately, they have extraordinarily low defense and a massive weakness to Blunt and Sharp damage attacks (as well as a moderate weakness to Wind damage). If you have Eric(a) and Veronica equipped for physical damage output, you should be able to take them out quickly and prevent them from accomplishing much of anything at all. If Eric(a) leans more towards magical than physical attacks, then Gust is not too bad, though you should be wary of the 25% magic nullification chance.
