Slime Monsters may seem goofy looking, but they're easily the most dangerous opponents to be found in this zone. Aside from their uninspiring base attack, they have one special ability, Acid Spit, which they use frighteningly often. This ability hits two targets with a burst of acid damage, and can target the same character twice if the RNG hates you. Additionally, they sometimes begin the battle by evolving into Slime Fiends, an even worse variant. Fortunately Slime Monsters are no more durable than the simple Noxious Slimes found earlier in this dungeon, making them glass cannons. Definitely target them first in any encounter.
