Raiding Yoshida's Room is an event that happens as part of the Yoshida storyline, the first attempt to try and get back the Cores stolen by her.
Overview
Triggering the event requires two cores having been stolen from the Cutie Knights, and for Veronica's previous daytime events have already happened ("Spying on Lovebirds" and "Take a Bow"). The next morning Veronica will approach Eric(a) outside their dorm, intent on breaking into Yoshida's room to find the cores. Note that if Operation: Fluffy Kitten is completed, that is having fought Yoshida and her team, then this event cannot be triggered or will be interrupted entirely if already in progress.
Breaking into Yoshida's room is a two-step process, first for gaining access to the Solaris Dorm, and then gaining access to Yoshida's room itself. Each step has multiple valid approaches, though choosing the wrong method for the second step can lead to a trip to the Punishment Classroom.
Dorm Access
- Julie: Speaking with Julie will have her give you her spare key to the dorm (Note no actual item is involved, the door is simply open now.)
- Catherine: Speaking with Catherine, provided Eric(a) impressed her, will have her open the door to the dorm.
Room Access
Stealthy Entry
Means by which to enter the room without causing a commotion.
- Marianne: Eric(a) can directly go up to Marianne and rant about their plans to get back at Yoshida. If you have two affection points with Marianne she will directly give you the Silver Key to Yoshida's room. If not there is no consequence, and in either event it will give another affection point with her, appreciating Eric(a)'s guts for telling her directly.
- Giselle: If Eric(a) has the Maid Transformation, speaking with Giselle has her offer to get a key for them. As Giselle is not very stealthy, Marianne will notice her actions and it will lead to a trip to the Punishment Classroom afterwards.
- Obviously-High Magical Girl: This is a two-step process with prior requirements. If Catherine was successfully rescued from the Slime Palace (Underground) by the Cutie Knights instead of having to do it herself, she will mention that the Obviously High Magical Girl always by Julie is Yoshida's roommate and suggest blackmailing her by threatening to report to Nele.
- Blackmail: Speaking with her now and choosing to blackmail her will result in obtaining a Silver Key. This method makes the Obviously-High Magical Girl dislike Eric(a) in future interactions, though this has no further consequences as of yet.
- Seduce: If Eric(a) has acquired the Succubus Shift then there is also an option to seduce her. After showing her a good time you will gain the Silver Key and a point in Succubus Behaviour. Note that this still requires talking to Catherine first so that you know who Yoshida's roommate is in the first place.
- Screwdriver: The simplest option. The Screwdriver can simply be used to remove the screws from the door to Yoshida's room. This is provided the Screwdriver was not used in place of the Kitchen Knife in the passage beneath the well.
Explosive Entry
Explosive means to simply destroy Yoshida's door. Using either of these options will immediately draw Marianne over, resulting in a trip to the Punishment Classroom. If you previously acquired a Silver Key and chose to do this anyway, Marianne will be angry enough to cause the loss of an affection point. Doing this loses the opportunity to enter Yoshida's Room, which misses an unlock for one of Natalie's BDSM events on her route, as well as a key item obtained on the way out.
- Vir Shaped Charge: Speaking with Veronica again after gaining access to the dorm (but before obtaining a Silver Key or otherwise entering the room) will have her give you a Vir Shaped Charge which can be used to directly blow down Yoshida's door. It is ideal to take the charge even if not intending to use it here, as it can be used in other places.
- C4: A C-4 Package can be taken from Marianne's Office. As with the above option, it can be used to blow up Yoshida's door.
To maximize gains it is recommended that the player should first speak with Veronica to get the explosive. Afterwards you should speak with Marianne for the affection point even if it does not yield a key. If she did give the key then use it, otherwise use the screwdriver.
If the player really wants to be punished, potentially to access the relevant Game Overs, then ideally you would use Giselle so as to still be able to enter the room and not miss anything. If you do not care then the explosive entries will work as well.
Yoshida's Room
Once in Yoshida's Room, merely inspecting enough of the objects in the room will advance the scene. Of particular note though is that if Eric(a) is on Natalie's route, then on her roommate's side of the room there is a silk bondage rope that will unlock another BDSM scene with Natalie if inspected. The player should be sure to grab this before the scene advances, as this is something that can be missed.
Outcome
Eventually not finding the cores in the room, Veronica will simply set fire to Yoshida's panties in her closet as petty revenge, forcing Yoshida to go commando in the future. As you are leaving Veronica will hand over the Strange Trinket found among Yoshida's panties.
If the Silver Key was acquired from Giselle the two will be met by Marianne in the hall as they leave, resulting in Veronica being put on dishwasher duty and Eric(a) being sent to the Punishment Classroom. If the door was blown up then the two never even got to enter the room before being dragged off for punishment. A stealthier method will allow getting off scot-free.
