Historica of Lovely Fate
This page is about the Magical Girl Yvette. Did you mean the boss enemy?
This article's content is accurate to the most recent public game version, 0.4.8d.

Yvette is one of the magical girls currently training at Magical Camp. She remains unnamed for most of the game, and is mostly seen around Isabelle.

Backstory

Little is known of Yvette's life prior to arriving at the Magical Camp, but in the opening of her diary were the lines: "It's amazing to think that my old, awful life is over. Goodbye lonely old boring life, hello adventure!" so it is safe to say that she did not think much of it.

Once at the Magical Camp, Yvette was initially behind the curve a bit, but recognized this fact and worked hard to keep up. During training she found an affinity for large war hammers, a fact that she was initially rather displeased about.

The harsh training wore at Yvette, and she seemed to have difficulty making friends with any of her fellow trainees. It was then that Isabelle first appeared, showing her some kindness and positivity which she immediately latched on to.

Fixated on Isabelle, Yvette would go on to aggressively pursue her feelings of "love." Everything she would do from then on was for the purposes of impressing Isabelle, hoping to prove her love to her. When later Isabelle would begin showing attention to someone new, Yvette would not take to this very kindly...

Personality

At first glance, Yvette is a very positive and straight-forward girl, hence her nickname "Blunt Magical Girl." Moreover, it is eminently clear that she is fanatically obsessed with Isabelle to the point that that aspect of her overshadows everything else.

Later, in a more direct confrontation with Yvette, it will be found that beneath the surface she is actually psychotically deranged. She has a rather loose connection with reality, and imposes her own views upon other people without regard as to how things actually are. Yvette pursues her "love" to disturbing degrees, including trying to murder anybody that stands in her way.

Interactions

  • Yvette is often with Isabelle during her affection events.
  • She can often be seen near the teleportation gate, gushing about Isabelle when you talk to her. If Eric(a) has the Facial Transformation, she will compliment you on looking like Isabelle and admit to thinking about getting work done on her own face to look more like her.
  • Yvette is the primary antagonist of the Y Investigation, in which she makes multiple bombing/assassination attempts against Eric(a), culminating in a fight.
  • After defeating her in battle, Yvette can be found as a statue in Marianne's Junk Room.
    • Yvette is still alive as a statue, and even aware. She is being left like this as a form of punishment until whenever Marianne decides it has been long enough.
    • Once Yvette has been dragged away by Isabelle, it is possible to examine her small hideout. She has a straw doll with a photo of Eric(a)'s face taped to it, as well as a desk full of disturbing things such as a framed photo of Isabelle, panties (most definitely Isabelle's), and a diary. Reading the diary chronicles her slow but steady descend into madness due to her deranged love for Isabelle and budding hatred of the "thief" Eric(a).

Trivia

  • According to Isabelle Yvette scored higher than Alice on the mental stability tests.
