Charge (or Focus) is a special action available to certain enemies. It does nothing initially, but signals to the player that the enemy is going to make an especially massive attack next turn. While the specific attack(s) varies from enemy to enemy, you will probably want to Guard against it.
The following enemies can use Charge:
- Alice (Joker) (For Annihilate)
- Carrion Egg (For Hatch)
- Ether Drake (For Charged Scales)
- Garak's Elite (For Void Blast and Wide Slash)
- Hell Portal (For Hell Portal)
- Hungry Treasure Chest (For Swallow Whole)
- Ifrit (For Blaze)
- Iron Golem (For Crushing Blow)
- Mind Breaker (For Crushing Blow and Psychic Burst)
- Monarch Insect (For Toxic Winds)
- Mutant Beetle (For Rending Bite)
- Mutant Plant (For Hallucinogenic Pollen and Venomous Bites)
- Phyre's Construct (For Crackling Lightning, Crushing Blow, and Volt Blast)
- Skeleton Warrior (For Crushing Blow)
- Slime Warrior (For Crushing Blow and Triple Attack)
- Wraith (For Crushing Blow)
