The Coldhearted Bastard Ending is an ending in Prisoners of the Elder One. It occurs when completing the requirements for one of the True Endings involving leaving the mansion through the golden gate, such as the Was It Just A Dream? ending. This requires collaring Satsu and using the Transfigurative Orb or Hellfire Wand on Gillermo beforehand. Even though this is a True End, achieved by exiting through the golden door, it still leads to a Game Over screen. Freeing Tiffany is not required for this ending.
Erik and Tiffany wake up in their beds, convinced that they each had a strange dream. However, a few days later, Erik arrives to see Tiffany brutally slain by a collar-less Satsu, who wishes to get revenge for her beloved. She freezes Erik into an ice sculpture and lays waste to the city, with Erik slowly dying of exposure.
