The Transfigurative Orb (originally Purple Sphere) is an item found in Prisoners of the Elder One. It is summoned in the Nexus Crypt, using the torn page, and must be shown to Rania to identify it. It has transformative properties, changing others if they are focused on it. The Orb has the most endings directly linked to it, as it can be used on many NPCs with differing results:
- Aubrey: Erik gets turned into a female imp if Aubrey does not love Erik: Things are going to Hell Ending
- If Aubrey does love Erik, she quickly undoes the changes before they can harm him.
- Aya: Turns Aya into a dog, except when next to the Water Spirit. No direct ending.
- When doing it next to the Water Spirit: Sahuagin Ending
- If done in the Nexus Crypt and Valda is informed afterward, then Erik and restored Tiffany leave via golden gate: Service Beyond Death Ending
- Camelia: Camelia turns into a bat and is very distraught by it. No direct ending.
- Erik (having restored Tiffany and used the orb on himself five times, then leaves via golden gate): Transforms into several different forms: Taken By The Orb Ending
- Gillermo: Turns Gillermo into a butterfly. No direct ending.
- The Coldhearted Bastard Ending happens if Satsu (wearing the collar) was with him, then Erik and restored Tiffany leave via golden gate.
