The Rope is a key item found in a chest in the Slime Palace.
Uses
- In the northern section of the Slime Palace, there is a hole in the ground. Using the rope here allows you to descend to fight the Slime Princess.
- In the center of the Magical Camp, there is a dry well. Using the rope here allows you to descend to the tunnel beneath the camp.
- In the southwest portion of the Tomb of Garak, there is a hole in the ground. Using the rope here allows you to find and rescue Kaylin.
- Returning again to the Slime Palace later at the behest of Julie you must enter the same hole in the north to collect the Slime Sample, and will also find one of Catherine's bunnies down here who will unlock the passage to the Slime Palace (Underground).
In all cases, using the Rope removes it from your inventory. You can get it back by interacting with the object you used it on. In the case of the well, Eric(a) will automatically take back the Rope when ascending back up the well, or if kicked out of the Administration Building .
