The Heroes of Mizene Ending is an Ending in Prisoners of the Elder One. It is achieved in the same way as the The New Lady Ending, but with a few key differences:

  • When first talking to Aya you must choose NOT to touch her ears and leave without mentioning the Water Spirit. If done correctly, she'll give you her Signal Whistle early as a token of gratitude.
  • You must also do the necessary steps to reach the Elder One (see Sorceress Ending for more information).
  • You must also use the Transfigurative Orb on yourself four times.

Once all of that is done, repeatedly trying to leave the waterfall room when everyone is about to be teleported to Mizene will have Erik slowly steeling his resolve to defeat the Elder One, having gathered everything he needs. Aya confronts him outside, fearful of facing the Elder One, but Erik's encouragement motivates her to fight alongside him.

Unlike other endings where the Elder One rapes and turns Erik into his woman, this time Erik stands defiant against him, which sends him into a murderous rage. Just then, Aya strikes him from behind, giving Erik the opening to chant the binding words that put the great villain down for good. His angels now turn to Erik as their master, and after consulting to the rest of the group, he, along with the Water Spirit and the freed Ixies and Aracan uses a transfer spell to bring Mizene over to this world. The spell ends up working a little too well, giving Tiffany, Erik and the girls a fresh change, but other than that Erik has successfully saved Mizene. Ixies reassures him that the rest of the Elder One's victims were sent home, and Kikyo's blessing is restored thanks to Aracan and the Water Spirit. Aside from the inevitable political upheaval that comes from expanding Mizene's multiverse connections, what matters most is that Aya happily marries Erik, choosing to keep her canine features for him to touch, and they live a long, happy life.
