Little Bitch Academia is an Eastern-style RPG made in RPG Maker VX Ace, chiefly created by Edea. It is part of the Historica of Lovely Fate setting.
The game follows an unfortunate protagonist named Url who one evening boarded a strange bus by accident, only to end up in a forest in the middle of nowhere with only a talking spider to assist him. Eventually he comes across a secret magic academy and gets enrolled as a student... except, due to some unfixable clerical error, Url is enrolled as a witch despite being a guy. With help from various excentric, wacky, weird and/or lovable characters, it is up to our unfortunate protagonist to survive many magical mischaps, shady shenanigans, and the dangers that come with being in a quasi-sentient academy that believes him to be something he currently is not and thus has plenty reason to "fix" that.
Gameplay
Little Bitch Academia is a turn-based RPG in which the player takes control of Url and various guest party members as they explore the wacky magic academy and surrounding areas. The game features a fairly linear main story with various side quests, as well as a day-night cycle that advances the plot. Url wakes up, goes to school, and may attend classes. After that, he can explore the city, interact with various characters, fulfill side missions, and generally try to survive whatever is thrown at him.
Battles are fought in a front-view third-person perspective where the various player characters are ordered to use skills to attack, defend, utilize items, etc. The expansive maps hold various secrets and offer aforementioned side missions to gain extra benefits such as currency or better equipment. A level-up system exists and as such repeated combat can increase the characters' stats to make future battles and challenges easier.
Over the story, Url also begins to transform into a girl more and more, and may eventually unlock additional abilities due to this.
