Cute is an element a damaging move may use, specific to Magical Girls. Eric(a)'s signature moves deal Cute damage, and enemies cannot use it.

Eric(a) has all three cute-element attacks used by the player, but quite a number of enemies are resistant to it, and unlike most enemy resistances, it often isn't clear from their appearance if they're cute-resistant or not (the general rule is that magicos and their minions are not resistant, but even that is not always the case; fairy-type monsters on the other hand are generally resistant because Cute magic is a subset of fairy magic). Cast carefully, and when an attack deals minimal damage, switch to another skill immediately.
