Doom Bolt is a spell that deals very high Ice damage to a single enemy target. Using Guard will reduce its damage significantly.

As this spell normally requires Focus in order to be cast, it is an obvious telegraph to use Guard before it hits, or to kill the enemy immediately if your party outspeeds the enemy enough.

The following enemies can cast Doom Bolt:

• Consumed One (Requires Focus)
• Mindstinger (Requires Focus)
• Watcher (requires Focus)
