The '''Wall of Roots''' is a passive "enemy" which appears midway through the boss fight with [[MC: Doom Flower|Doom Flower]] in the [[MC: Big Tree|Big Tree]]. If the 6 [[MC: Mind Breaker|Mind Breakers]] were defeated, the elementals in the tree will awaken and immediately remove the Wall of Roots from the fight as soon as it comes in, otherwise it will join the fight. The Wall of Roots is essentially a hostage, containing the lifeforce of the Big Tree. Defeating it will produce a more negative outcome than ignoring it. Read the [[MC: Doom Flower|Doom Flower]] article for further details.<br />

While the Wall of Roots itself does not attack, if it is up it will allow Doom Flower to occasionally cast [[MC: Root Grasp|Root Grasp]], or [[MC: Root Choke|Root Choke]] if a party member is [[MC: Bound|tentaclebound]].<br />
