The '''Shining Dawn Bird''' is the miniboss located at the end of the Fire branch of [[MC: Eric(a)'s Memories|Eric(a)'s Memories]]. This creature focuses primarily on dealing fire damage to one or two targets each turn, occasionally switching it up with a [[MC: STAT Down|DEF Down and MDF Down]] debuff against your party. Additionally, as you face this opponent the 15 minute timer on the zone will continue ticking away. While it's unlikely you've wasted enough time for that limitation to actually matter, it might add some psychological pressure to the battle.

Regardless, you should be able to defeat this thing quickly, simply by pouring out your most powerful attacks on it. If [[MC: Eric(a)|Eric(a)]] has some powerful {{MCIce}} magic by this point, such as [[MC: Freezing Flames|Freezing Flames]], take advantage of that while [[MC: Wendy's Help|Wendy]] uses [[MC: Heart Blast|Heart Blast]] and [[MC: Isabelle (Ganguro)|Isabelle]] delivers [[MC: Heellish Pain|Heellish Pain]]. The bird should give in long before you do.

If you do still find this battle difficult, it is also possible to quickly drain away all of its MP with moves from Wendy or Isabelle to restrict its moveset to only its basic attacks. Be careful about using Wendy's [[MC: Phyre's Psychic Flames|Phyre's Psychic Flames]] since as a fire spell it will also heal the bird unless you do it immediately at the start of the fight. Isabelle's [[MC: Negative Charge|Negative Charge]] lacks this disadvantage and can remove all of its MP in two casts.

At any rate, do not spend too long on your turns as the timer is still ticking down. Defeat the Shining Dawn Bird quickly and then race back to someplace cooler.
