In combat, however, it adds a very brief [[MC: MAT Up|MAT Up]] [[MC: Status effects|status effect]] as well, increasing the efficacy of the next skill the recipient uses. Situations where it makes sense to do so are rare, however, as the MP recovery is very minimal and the turn spent using this item could usually be used dealing damage instead.<br />
