During battle, various possible '''elements''' (or non-elements) are used to fight enemies, and enemies fighting back using the same. To optimise damage during fights, it is advised to choose elements that enemies are weak against, while being aware that some enemies resist, block, or even absorb certain elements to heal, and those should therefore be avoided when fighting those particular foes.<br />
