== Background/Personality ==
Allura was born on the ocean world [[Ronoran]], a world inhabited by humans, mermaids, and various other species mostly of aquatic origin. The only relative she mentions is her grandmother, apparently also a Sea Witch, who once bought the voice of a mermaid and blessed a choker with it. It can be assumed she taught Allura some magic.

As a Sea Witch, she is/was part of a cult dedicated to "The Great Tentacled One", presumed to be an Elder God who slept at the bottom of the ocean of the world, and was prophesized to make the universe tremble once he awakens. During the war with the magicos, the Sea Witches did manage to awaken their God, who suitably trashed the invaders for a while... but then literally got torn apart and eaten by a magico even larger than itself. After that, the demoralised Sea Witches were beaten, with Allura the sole survivor.

Until just before the fall of Ronoran, the [[MC: Magical Girl|Magical Girls]] under [[MC: Marianne|Marianne]] tried to protect the planet, but between the unending hordes of magicos and being attacked by the mermaids, who all hate land-dwellers (particularly women) using magic, the mission was eventually deemed pointless and abandoned. It seems Allura then managed to come with them, ultimately ending up in the [[MC: Pocket Dimension|Pocket Dimension]].

The party first meets Allura [[MC: Sea Witch|in battle]] in the [[MC: Mermaid Caves|Mermaid Caves]], with [[MC: Veronica|Veronica]] annoying her too much for any reasonable discussion to take place. Beaten, she escapes and may be met again inside the well of the [[MC: Magical Camp|camp]], where [[MC: Eric(a)|Eric(a)]] can then talk to her. While Allura is initially hostile, she quickly realises that Eric(a) is no longer a mermaid, calms down, and listens to the explanation. She promises to keep the secret safe, as well as offers some topics to talk about and some items to buy.

Personality-wise, Allura is very emotional and moody. She makes a variety of facial expressions in a short amount of time, is quick to anger, appears happy easily, or gets sad and thoughtful. Nonetheless she is a great magician, a nice ally to have and, while a little perverted (which she does not show that often) who likes a good drink once in a while, is overall a very reliable person.

Her one berserk button is easily pushed whenever mermaids come up, whom she calls "arrogant bitches" (which they are), and whom she blames for the fall of their homeworld due to their shortsightedness and unwillingness to accept foreign help (which is exactly what doomed the world).
